The Wall Street Journal rated Morristown, TN as the #1 "Most Affordable Place in the U.S. to Raise a Family". They went on to say that a family of four can meet their needs here for $49,114 per year. This report came out in 2015, but not much has changed. Morristown, TN is still a great place to live. It's more than just affordable, though. It's a beautiful area at the foothills of the Smoky mountains. Cherokee Lake and nearby Douglas Lake are gorgeous places to play, relax, or just enjoy the scenery. We have a bustling economy here with a growing restaurant scene. Then, of course, there's the vacation town of Pigeon Forge nearby and the nightlife of Knoxville nearby as well. Morristown has been a hub for business and manufacturing since at least the 1950s. It's also been a great town to raise a family or to live the lake life! This is called the Lakeway area for a reason. Now we're growing, the economy is really taking off, and it just keeps getting better here.
