• For the record, I really like Nashville, but I have to agree with these reasons to visit Knoxville instead.  There's no place better to visit (or live) than in East Tennessee.  Middle Tennessee is great too.  The whole state is! But East Tennessee is a gem in the midst of the mountains.  Then there's the lakes and the great people as well!   I'm happy to be living here.
